Art Therapy

Research has shown that the creative act can help towards the recovery process by improving and enhancing the physical, mental and emotional well being of individuals.

This is not about having artistic ability; it is simply about using paints, chalk or collage to communicate and express thoughts and feelings. It can help with increasing self-awareness, improving self-esteem, reducing anxiety, and building confidence.

It also provides time for relaxation which can lead to a greater sense of well-being.

Art Therapy sessions are facilitated by an Art Therapsit and usually last one hour.
